Amiibo is Nintendo’s NFC Platform, Coming to Smash Bros. Wii U and Mario Kart 8

Nintendo has announced amiibo, it's figurine platform that makes use of the Wii U GamePad's NFC capabilities.

The Big N plans to share more information on how amiibo will be implemented in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U during E3 this week. As such, stay tuned to GameRevolution for all the details.
