Gaikai PlayStation 3 Library To Launch Next Year

Sony has confirmed that Gaikai streaming of PlayStation 3 titles will be supported starting sometime next year.

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida made the announcement during a roundtable interview at Tokyo Game Show. Starting in 2014, a selection of PlayStation 3 titles will be ready to go when the service launches, with that number obviously growing over time. Supported devices will include PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Vita TV.

Right now, the 2014 launch window applies only to North America, with more information on European territories coming at a later date.
