Marvel vs. Capcom 2 DreamCast Cheats

Marvel vs Capcom 2: A New Age of Heroes

Dreamcast

Change Your Character During the Game:

Hold L for the second character and R for the third character at the versus

screen. This will allow you to manipulate the order of your characters. For

example if you select Cable, Ryu, then Ken, but later in the second stage you

want Ryu to appear first…

A Change of Clothing:

Press Y or A to choose a fighter at the character selection screen.

Same Character:

If you earn an experience level of 99 or higher in the Secret Factor section,

you are allowed to choose the same character up to three times on one team.

Manipulating The Stage Clock:

In one of the stages, there is a noticably giant clock in the background. This

clock actually changes time. However, it isn’t random, and can be adjusted.

The clock reads off the DreamCast’s system clock. So if you want the clock

to read a specific time (or even the real time), then simply go to the DreamCast

options menu (press X + Y + A + B + Start or turn on your DC without a game

in the tray) and change the clock to whatever you’d like the stage clock to

read.

Hints

Things to Work For:

– Seven Stages – Purchased through the VS shop

– 32 Hidden Characters – Purchased through the VS shop or downloaded from Capcom

of Japan’s web site

– 56 Alternate Colors – One for each character, purchased through the VS shop

Cheaper Secret Characters:

To get secret characters for less points, leave and return to the character

store until the point total gets low enough. The price will change each time.
